WebI: Column headers on some reports became very tall

Summary

This article will walk you through troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue of column headers being very tall.

 

Issue

The column headers are very tall on a report, causing the report to generate many more pages than it should.tall column header in table in webi 4.1

 

Cause

This occurs if any of the table header columns has been shrunk to hide display of results and also has "Autofit Height" & "Wrap" formatting applied.

 

Resolution

The column headers need to be modified with the following steps:

Step 1 - Right-click the header cell

Step 2 - Choose Format Table Cell >Text Settings

Step 3 - Uncheck "Wrap text".

Step 4 - In the Layout Settings section, uncheck "Autofit" under Minimum height and set the minimum height to 0.04.

Step 5 - Click OK to save the changes.
