NOTE: Withdrawing email content DOES NOT cancel the previously scheduled send. The scheduled send will use the original content. i.e. If the user updates the content after a send has been scheduled, they will need to cancel the send, and reschedule with the new updated content.
NOTE: Emails that have been selected to be sent "Immediately" can not be cancelled or Recalled.
Task: To cancel an email once it has been scheduled.
Instructions:
Step 1 - Once an email has been scheduled to be sent inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) it goes into a "Scheduled" status and is pending to be sent.
Step 2 - From the Overview page, use the Pending tab on the right side of the page to locate the email that has been scheduled.
Step 3 - Click on the name of the email and open it.
Step 4 - Once open, the user can choose to Cancel Send from here which will remove the send from happening.
Step 5 - Click OK to the dialog
Step 6 - SFMC will provide the user with a confirmation
Outcome:
Your scheduled email has been cancelled.
