Task: To upgrade or install SPSS for Windows

If you need to upgrade SPSS or install a new copy, follow these instructions to install, and then proceed with the licensing steps.

Instructions

Step 1 - Connect to the repository for the installation files here: USNH SPSS   This folder is accessible to all USNH account holders, but you may have to login with your USNH username and password to gain access.

Step 2 - Open the SPSS 30 - Windows Folder.

Step 3 - Download the ISSCAS30_0.0_MW_ML.exe file by scrolling over the file, selecting the circle next to the file name, and clicking the Download button that appears as a down arrow with the word "Download" above the file. Be sure to Download the file to your computer. Do not Open it from the location. 

 

Step 4 - Once the download has finished, locate the ISSCAS30_0.0_MW_ML.exe where you saved it. Typically it is in the Downloads folder in your user folder on the computer. Double click the file to start the installation process.

Step 5 - Click Next.

Step 6 -Accept the License Agreement.

Step 7 -Click Next.

Step 8 -Click Install.

Step 9 -Click Finish.

Step 10 - When you first launch SPSS, you will be asked to Activate IBM SPSS Statistics.  Click "Launch License Wizard".  Continue to the next step: SPSS Licensing to review the choices available to you to activate your copy.

Step 11 - Next Step: SPSS Licensing

 

Outcome

You have successfully upgraded or installed SPSS on your Windows device.
