Creating a Schedule

Summary

Before a user can create a schedule in InfoBurst, they must first create or have access to a Burst they would like to schedule. Please see our instructions for Creating a Burst.

 

How-To

Task: Create a schedule for a burst.

Instructions

Step 1 - Log in to InfoBurst

Step 2 - Navigate to the folder where the burst you would like to schedule is located

Step 3 - Click on the New button and select Schedule

Step 4 - Enter in a name for the schedule and press the “enter” key

Step 5 - Select the type of item that will be scheduled. InfoBurst defaults to Burst.

Step 6 - Optional - enter in a description for the schedule

Step 7 - Navigate to the Bursts tab and select the burst(s) you would like to schedule

Step 8 - Navigate to the Frequency tab and select when and how often you would like the schedule to run.

Step 9 - Click the “Save” button

 

Outcome

You have created a schedule for a burst.

 

Task: Monitor the status of your Schedules and Bursts

Instructions

Step 1 - Click on “Monitor” located in the red banner across the top of the screen

Step 2 - To view your scheduled items that ran or will run today, click on “Schedules” located in the black banner under the red banner at the top of the page

Step 3 - To view your scheduled items that will run on a future date, click on “Future Schedules” located in the black banner under the red banner at the top of the page.

  • Next, select a future date you would like to check and click the “View” button

Step 4 - To view your items that ran today or in the past, click on “Activity Logs” located in the black banner under the red banner at the top of the page

  • From here you can specify a date range and view the detailed activity logs for each burst that ran.

Please Note: the system only saves the past 30 days of information.

 

Outcome

You are able to monitor the status of your Schedules and Bursts.
