TeamDynamix: Updating the Status of My Project

This article details how to update the status of my project in TeamDynamix.

 

How-To

Task: To update my project status.

Instructions

Step 1 - Go into Applications Menu and click on Projects.

Step 2 - In left-hand navigation, click on Manage Projects.

Step 3 - Click on the Status link for the project you wish to update.

Step 4 - Select the status from Status field drop down.

Step 5 - Update Percent Complete.

Step 6 - Add Comments. We recommend the following format:

  • Brief, executive-level summary of project status.
  • Recent Accomplishments: High-level list of accomplishments, generally 3-5 items.
  • Issues: List issues of highest concern or impact, including information on actions taken and whether they have been successfully mitigated.
  • Upcoming Milestones: A list of 3-5 major activities which are next to be completed.

Step 7 - Click Save.

Note: If you scroll to the bottom of the "Update Project Status" window, you will see your most recent update.

 

Outcome

Project status updated.
