UNH Term Codes

The "Current Term" is set by the Registrar’s Office and can only be either a Fall or a Spring Term.  Typically, "Current Term" changes from Fall Term to Spring Term around mid-January, and from Spring Term to Fall Term in late June.  WebI Student reports that do not prompt for a specific term use the current term's data.

10 = Fall term
30 = January term
50 = Spring term
70 = Summer term

The year changes in the Fall.   For example, as of June 1, 2020:

  • 201970 is this Summer (Calendar Year 2020)
  • 202010 is this Fall (Calendar Year 2020)
  • 202030 is next January Term (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202050 is next Spring (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202070 is next Summer (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202110 is next Fall (Calendar Year 2021)

GSC Term Codes

01 = Fall term
02 = Winter term
03 = Spring term
04 = Summer term

The year changes in the Fall.   For example:

  • 201904 is Summer (Calendar Year 2020)
  • 202001 is Fall (Calendar Year 2020)
  • 202002 is Winter (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202003 is Spring (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202004 is Summer (Calendar Year 2021)
  • 202101 is Fall (Calendar Year 2021)

PSU Course Codes

Plymouth State University uses a unique set of characters to individually identify each course in the system. To help understand these course codes, review the following:

  1. Login to myPlymouth
  2. Select Canvas from the left-hand menu.  You can also log into:  mycourses.plymouth.edu
  3. Once in Canvas you can select a course from your Dashboard.  You can also select Courses -> All Courses
  4. Select a course
  5. In the course select Settings and find the SIS ID

  1. The first number in the parenthesis is the course CRN
  2. The second number is the semester term code
    • The first 4 digits of the term code are for the Academic Year
    • The last two digits are the semester identifier
      • Here is a list of all the semester identifiers:
Through AY 2017 After AY 2017
(UG and GR terms are coded the same)
UG Fall: 10 Fall: 10
UG Winter: 20 Winter: 20
UG Spring: 30 Spring:30
UG Summer: 40 Summer: 40
GR Fall: 91
GR Winter: 92
GR Spring: 93
GR Summer: 94

Note: Remember, PSU fiscal year starts on July 1st, so Fall and Winter course term codes are a year ahead compared to the calendar year.

Example:

  • 201940 is Summer (Calendar Year 2019)
  • 202010 is Fall (Calendar Year 2019)
  • 202020 is Winter (Calendar Year 2019)

  • 202040 is Summer (Calendar Year 2020)
  • 202110 is Fall (Calendar Year 2020)
