UNH Events Calendar: Overview

Summary

The UNH Events Calendar, located online at https://www.unh.edu/calendar,is UNH’s main resource for event information. Schools, departments, offices, and student organizations post events happening at UNH to the Events Calendar. Posted events may be open to the general public, or they may be private events for UNH faculty, staff, students, and/or alumni. Items published on the Events Calendar may appear on school, department, office, and organization calendars throughout the UNH websites, as well as on the UNH Mobile App. The Events Calendar is the official source for the UNH academic year schedule including start and end of semesters, breaks, registration deadlines, and the like.

Viewing and Creating Events

Beginning in December 2025, calendar submissions are managed through 25Live, the same software used for room reservations. This integration streamlines scheduling and ensures all events are managed in one system. As part of this change, we'll be helping to make our calendars more robust by grouping events within broader categories. Tags, which were used in the previous calendar software, will be replaced by assigning events to the appropriate organization and calendar resource, for example a COLA organization and Arts & Entertainment calendar resource.

Adding a New Event

To add a new event to the calendar, first log in to 25Live by visiting this link: https://25live.collegenet.com/pro/unh .

When creating an event in 25Live, you can:

Reserve a room and choose to include the event on a calendar, or
Submit a calendar-only event (with no physical location required).

- Additional Tips:
  - Use clear event titles and descriptions for calendar visibility.
  - For virtual events, include public links in the description.
  - Only select one calendar resource.
  - Always confirm the “Include on Public Calendars” option when appropriate.
  - Check the calendar first before adding events to make sure they are not already in the system.

The calendar software also provides RSS feeds and subscription functions that allow individuals to integrate the UNH calendar items into their own personal calendaring software or get email notifications when events are added or changed.

Requests for event postings from outside the university are no longer permitted.
