EAB Navigate360: Cancelling an Appointment

Task: This article will outline the steps to take when it becomes necessary to cancel a scheduled meeting with an advisor, faculty or other support team member.

 

Instructions:

The reminder emails sent prior to a meeting has a Cancel option as part of that email.  Users can click the link from the email or use a Cancel link from within the appointment itself from within the application.

Cancelling a Meeting

1.  Should you need to cancel a meeting for any reason prior to the meeting's scheduled time.  By clicking on the Upcoming Appointment's title, it will open up a meeting detail dialog. In the lower left of the dialog box, click Cancel My Attendance. 

2.  Select a Reason and include a comment.

3.  Click Mark as Cancelled

4.  Once the system updates the meeting and provides you with a message that this meeting has been cancelled, click Close.

Outcome:

Users should be able to cancel a scheduled meeting with an advisor, faculty, or other support team member.
