EMS Desktop Client (DTC) pushes quarterly updates to users. These updates load when you next open the DTC on your device.
When it works smoothly you will sometimes notice the DTC may take a little longer to load. You may even notice a green progress bar appear and a notice that the program is updating.
However, if you have not logged in awhile and multiple updates are needed – or sometimes just “because” – the DTC update may not work. You may see a server error message or a message to update again, which does not resolve when you try again. In this case, the best practice is to uninstall your current version of the EMS Desktop Client (image 1). Also unpin/delete, any shortcuts to EMS DTC on your desktop or task bar.
