Purpose: This article provides an overview of KSC classroom audiovisual "styles" levels
Intended Audience: Faculty, staff and students
Environment: KSC classrooms
Scope of Article:
Keene State classrooms with audiovisual equipment are categorized by style depending on the type of equipment installed. The most basic of which is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Room which typically includes a projector and speakers and requires a user to bring their own laptop. We have abbreviated these Rooms as Type I, II, and III. An "Installed Computer + Conferencing" Room is the most advanced (Type III) and will typically include a built-in PC and hybrid equipment (cameras & microphones) which allows to user to run a Zoom or web call without bringing in any additional equipment. These levels are fully defined in the below Content section.

Classroom contains foundational technology elements:
- an HDMI cable for your laptop/device
- a display (LCD TV or Projector)
- a sound (not speech) reinforcement system
- a control system (may be push button or touch screen)
- Wireless (Casting) Presentation technology (AirMedia)

Installed Computer Room |
Classroom contains foundational technology elements and an installed computer:
- an HDMI cable for your laptop/device
- some rooms have the AirMedia Wireless Projection Option
- a display (LCD TV or Projector)
- a sound (not speech) reinforcement system
- a control system
- a podium with at least a PC sometimes Mac as well

Classroom contains all foundational technology elements above + installed computer
AND a layer of web-conferencing peripherals to easily support Zoom or Teams duplex conferencing capability

NOTE: some classrooms are controlled via the projector remote, these rooms DO NOT have panel control
