Instructions

• 

  • Turn on the lights in the room using the top on/off buttons on the remote stuck to the wall just outside the door 

   

   

  • Plug the USB cable from the microphone into your computer or the supplied adapter. If using the adapter, plug that into your computer 

  • If prompted, allow any driver or software updates 

  • Adjust the arm for the microphone so that the microphone is roughly one foot from your mouth and standing perpendicular, with the microphone grill on the bottom 

  • Put on the headphones and ensure that they are plugged into the microphone 

  • On your computer, open the recording program you wish to use 

  • Select the Yeti microphone from available microphones in your recording program 

  • Adjust the physical settings on the back of the microphone. A cardioid (heart shaped) polar pattern and a gain setting approximately in the center will be appropriate for most single users doing podcasts, voiceovers, vocals or using an instrument.
