Prerequisite Steps

• Save and Close all programs before proceeding
• The user will need to make sure that their local account username matches their USNH username

Username for local account

• To do this in macOS Ventura, browse to System Settings > Users & Groups.
• Right click on the user and select Advanced Options.
• Check the username listed in the field; if it does not match the USNH username of the user, it will need to be changed to match. This can be done from another local administrator account on the machine. Once the username matches, the user may proceed to the next step.

Installing Jamf Connect

• Open the Self Service application on the user’s Mac.
• In the Self Service application, select the policy called “Jamf Connect Install” and click the install button. This may take several minutes.
