Faculty/Staff Repair Loaners
ET&S Client Services maintains a small fleet of loaner laptops (available on a first come - first served basis) when an employee’s primary device is sent out for repair or remediation. A loaner device will be offered during the repair process if needed, available, and appropriate.
In some cases, a loaner laptop may be recommended for Faculty/Staff traveling internationally to some foreign countries. See the guidance provided on the Cybersecurity Tips for International Travel website. Faculty/Staff planning international travel with their USNH managed notebook are encouraged to request a pre-travel consultation with the Cybersecurity team by submitting a General Cybersecurity Services ticket.
This service is available on all USNH Campuses.
Local Campus Loaners
Availability of loaner laptops for personal use by students, faculty, or staff varies by campus. If you have questions about options on your campus, please visit one of the walk-up locations.
In general:
- KSC – limited loaner laptops for fac/staff use at Elliot 243
- PSU – laptops available to borrow for a 2-hour loan at HUB 123
- UNH – no loaner laptops available through ET&S other than through the fac/staff repair / international travel programs mentioned above. Students with demonstrated need may apply for use of a loaner laptop through the Dean of Students Office.
