Xtender: How to Access Xtender BPRD When Banner BPRD Is Not Available

The shift from Banner BPRD to Workday may change the way you access Xtender BPRD. This article will provide steps to access Xtender BPRD when Banner BPRD is no longer available.

There are currently two ways to access Xtender BPRD: 

• Jump over from a Banner BPRD admin page, using the Add or Retrieve button. 

• Open Xtender BPRD directly. 

You may be using one or both of those methods today.  

However, once Banner BPRD is replaced by Workday, the only way to access Xtender BPRD will be to open it directly.  

To open Xtender directly: 

1. Navigate to the USNH Gateway section within the USNH portal (https://my.usnh.edu/pages/usnh-gateway). 

2. In the Production Systems section of USNH Gateway, click Document Management to expand the options. 

3. Click USNH Finance/HR Xtender Prod. 

4. This will launch Xtender Finance/HR. You will be logged in with your single sign-on credentials. 

There will not be a way to jump from Workday into Xtender documents. However, when Xtender BPRD is replaced by Laserfiche in March 2025, we expect to have a way to navigate from Workday to Laserfiche.  

Outcome

You should be able to log into Xtender BPRD directly.
