To begin, navigate to the Email Template you’d like to use to create an email. Click the Related tab, find the Email Content list, and click New.

  1. Name – This is the internal name of the email content you’re creating.

  1. Email Template – This is the related Email Template that you’re creating the Email Content from.

  1. Description – This is the internal description of the email content you’re creating.

Click Save. Then, click on the newly created Email Content from the list. You’re now looking at the page for the Email Content record you just created.

To edit the Email Content, click Edit in Builder. Choose Current email experience. This builder is very reminiscent of the Email Template Builder used to create this Email Template. You can review this Content Builder here.

Once your Email Content is done, click Save. Click the back arrow in the top left of the Content Builder.

Now, we’ll need to Test the Email Content. To do this, click the Test button on the Email Content page.

  1. Campaign – This field allows you to associate the email with the previously-made Campaign.

  1. Tracker Domain – This field should remain as the default https://outreach.unh.edu.

  1. Recipient Lists – This field allows you to select the Lists you’ve made that you want to send this email to.

  1. Suppression Lists – This field allows you to include any Suppression Lists you’ve made. A Suppression List is a list that filters out Contacts based on criteria. Since Prospects are managed at the Campaign level in Salesforce, most users will not need to worry about this. If you need assistance with this functionality, please reach out to the Salesforce team.

  1. Primary Sender – This field allows you to select who the email will appear to be sent from.

  1. Reply-To User – This field allows you to select a Reply-To User or email address for the email.

  1. Completion Actions – These checkboxes allow you to mark Prospects as Complete if they take the selection action(s).

  1. Send Time – This allows you to select if you’d like to send the email immediately or schedule a future send.

  1. Send – This is the button that will schedule the email to be sent.

Once you click the Send button, the email will be sent out based on the criteria you selected.
