Audio Mav Matrix Switcher

Body

Manual Selection Instructions

PIP overflow configurations require an Audiovisual Technical Support professional to manually route the inputs to the desired outputs for audio.

The matrix switchers are connected to a router setup in little MCR. In order to connect to the Mav Matrix Switcher connect to the router. Open a browser and type the following IP address to connect to the Mav web application.

192.168.1.101 - CrossPoint Plus 3232/2424 Control

192.168.1.102 and 192.168.1.103 IP addresses are used to connect to the matrix switchers routing content and camera video. Since the touch panels in MCR are able to route video properly to classrooms in both Overflow and PIP configurations it is unnecessary to make changes to the control for these switchers.

The Extron Electronics web application will open in the browser.

Next select the Control tab at the top of the page.

The grid provides an easy to use control interface to route inputs (on the left) to outputs (on top). A red dot indicates if an input is being routed to an output. Outputs 23 and 24 are reserved for MCR tech station monitors.

To manually route an input to the desired output refer to the chart on the following page.

Find and check the box that uses the INPUT # labeled with the Origination room and the OUTPUT # destination room. After the correct box is selected, you must select the Take button for the setting to be saved.

After the event is done, make sure to remove the box that was selected and press the Take button to disable audio overflow.
