Task: To find the email header

Instructions

  1. Open Outlook on the Web
    Go to https://outlook.office.com and sign in with your USNH credentials.

  2. Locate the Email
    Find and open the message for which you want to view the header.

  3. Open Message Details

    • Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner of the message pane.
    • Select View > View message details from the dropdown.
  4. Review the Header Information
    A new window will open displaying the full email header. You can:

    • Copy the header text for analysis or forwarding to ET&S
    • Use tools like Microsoft Message Header Analyzer to interpret the data.

 

Outcome

You have successfully copied the header information from a specific email.
