How-To

Task: To access another person's calendar in Microsoft 365 Outlook on the Web.

Note: When another Microsoft Outlook user grants you permission to his or her calendar, you can open it in Outlook. If you do not have permission, a permission request email message is sent to the other person.

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open your USNH Email and sign in if required. Click the calendar icon on the left-hand side of your screen to go to the calendar section.

Step 2 -  In the Microsoft 365 Outlook Calendar, select the "Add calendar" button on the left.

Step 3 - Select "Add from directory" and select the account to search form.

Step 4 - Select a person, group, or resource by entering a name or email address from your organization's directory to view the associated calendar.

 

Step 5 - Select the calendar group to which you want to add it.

 

Step 6 -  Click "Add".

Step 7 - If the other person whose calendar you want to open hasn’t granted you permission to view it, Outlook prompts you to ask the person for permission. If you click "Yes", a sharing request email message opens automatically. The message requests the person to share his or her calendar with you and also provides the option to share your default calendar with him or her.

 

Outcome

You have access to view someone else's calendar in Microsoft 365 Outlook on the Web.
