Network Services

The Keene, Plymouth, and UNH Durham campuses (as well as UNH Law, and UNHM) support two broadcasted wireless networks.

The eduroam wireless network provides the peace-of-mind security of a wired network with the mobility of wireless.  The eduroam network is a cooperative design allowing USNH community members to travel to other member institutions and have network access.

Additionally, each campus has an “-Open” network (KSC-Open, PSU-Open, UNH-Open) with limited access. Its purpose is to serve guest users and act as a launching pad to eduroam.  Users can register via captive portal or by visiting https://networking.usnh.edu/nac .

Please be sure to read and understand the UNH Acceptable Use Policy (as detailed by the USNH OLPM).

Each campus is provided in a full-building deployment of wireless for all academic and residential building, and in an ad-hoc basis in administrative and other buildings.

Faculty and Staff can request new wireless locations or changes to their existing service by contacting their Telecom Account Managers at UNH or by contacting the ET&S Help Desk at PSU and KSC.

From Event:

USNH is pleased to offer a new “Events” wireless network for those users hosting visitors who are not native to the USNH campuses, but on our campuses for a specific duration and in specific locations, allowing a temporary bypass of our typical registration process.

This service is designed with a password and will keep users separate from the main campus network. Each campus will have their own branded version, KSC-Events, PSU-Events, and UNH-Events. UNH Law and UNH Manchester will use the UNH-Events version. Once the service is requested and approved, you will be provided with the password to share with the event attendees.

To request this service, please fill out the following form with the name, phone number and email of the event contact, the specific buildings and locations the event will take place, and the duration of the event.
