Enabling Fax Confirmations on Xerox Versalink MFDs (ETS Internal)

Summary

This article has instructions to turn on Fax Confirmation pages.  These instructions worked for Versalink 7020 MFDs.  We think the same steps would probably work for Versalink 7030 MFDs.

Before you begin

  • If you are on-campus, make sure you are connected to Eduroam (wireless) or Ethernet (wired).
  • If you are off-campus, make sure you are connected to the VPN.

Step 1 - Browse to the device web GUI of the form: https://[printer_ip]​​​​​​​ where [printer_ip] is the MFD's IP address.

  • Ignore the certificate warning and proceed
  • Sign in with the campus admin credentials, stored in Devolutions and/or SecretSafe

Step 2 - Go to ​​​​​​​Apps -> Fax -> Scroll all the way down the list of options on the right to "Confirmation Report"

Step 3 - Change it from "Undelivered" to "All Jobs"

 

Outcome

Fax Confirmation's will be turned on for that MFD.
