Projection image color balance is off (too much of one color):

1. Color balance issues are usually due to a damaged or loose cable (usually the cable connecting your device to the wall -- but can also be a loose cable going into the projector).
2. Confirm HDMI or VGA cable is not damaged, replace if necessary.
3. Confirm cable and adapters are fully connected on both ends of the cable.
4. Try another source (iPod/DVD/VHS/PC if available) to see if color balance issue persists.
5. Still not working correctly? A further repair may be necessary.
6. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.

Projection image is too small or too large for the projection screen:

1. Someone probably messed with the Zoom dial on the projector. Use AV stepladder to physically adjust Zoom dial on the bottom or front of the projector. Some projectors have motorized Zoom dials, and you can use the remote to adjust the size of the image. 
2. Confirm that the laptop is using the correct display settings (1280x800 resolution) See Laptop Troubleshooting section for more detailed settings.
3. Try another source (iPod/DVD/VHS/PC if available) to see if projection image size issue persists.
4. Still not working correctly? A further repair may be necessary.
5. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.

Projection image is out of focus or blurry:

1. Someone probably messed with the Focus dial on the projector. Use AV stepladder to physically adjust Focus dial on the bottom or front of the projector. Some projectors have motorized Focus dials, and you can use a remote to adjust the focus. 
2. Confirm that the laptop is using the correct display settings (1280x800 resolution) See Laptop Troubleshooting section for more detailed settings.
3. Still not working correctly? A further repair may be necessary.
4. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.

Projection image is washed out/hard to read (too much white - hard to read text):

1. Projector lamps nearing the end of their lifespan will project a washed out image.
2. Confirm that the laptop is using the correct display settings (1280x800 resolution) See Laptop Troubleshooting section for more detailed settings.
3. Still not working correctly? The projector lamp may need to be replaced by the full time AV staff.
4. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.

Touch panel is frozen on Projector Warming Up or Projector Cooling Down page:

1. Disconnect any device from HDMI or VGA cable.
2. Power on/off projector using remote, so that the state of the projector matches what the touch panel says. If the touch panel says warming up, make sure the projector is on. If the touch panel says cooling down, turn the projector off. This may need to be repeated. 
3. Touch panel should refresh and fix itself once projector warms up.
4. Touch panel still frozen? The processor will need to be reset. This will require opening the equipment rack or reset with RoomView if available.
5. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.

Projector Malfunction Error on touch panel, or projector will not turn on (or will not stay on):

1. This problem may be indicative of a more serious projector issue (Blown lamp for example).
2. Manually reset the projector using the remote. Resetting the projector may clear the touch panel error.
3. Still not working? A further repair may be necessary. If possible, note the blink pattern of the lights on the projector (Power, Status, and Lamp lights), this will help diagnose the issue.
4. Alert supervisor who will determine if this repair is possible at this time, or if a delivery LCD will be set up as a workaround.
