AV Backpack Inventory List

Each backpack should include these items to use while doing room Tier 2 PMs.
 

  • DVD
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Cleaning Foam
  • 2 Cleaning Microfiber Cloths
  • VGA Cable
  • HDMI Cable
  • Ethernet Cable
  • Projector Remotes
  • 2 Packs of AA batteries
  • 2 packs of AAA batteries
  • 3 9v batteries
  • USB Flash Drive
  • HDMI Tester
  • VGA Tester

Cleaning and Testing Procedures

Use the Clorox wipes to clean off tables, keyboard, and other surfaces. Use a microfiber cloth and cleaning foam to clean any screens (touch panel, instructor's monitor, smart board, TV, etc.). Plug in the HDMI tester and make sure the system starts up correctly, and the display and sound functions both work. If no HDMI in the room or the VGA appears damaged, use the VGA tester to test VGA function. If HDMI or VGA do not display properly, try replacing the cord with one from your backpack. If there is a built-in Mac and/or PC, ensure that you can log into each successfully and that they display properly. If there are any issues, contact your supervisor for troubleshooting steps. When the room PM is complete, be sure to shut down the system on your way out.
