Instructions for faculty to view a student's transcript.

Task: Follow the instructions to view a student's transcript. 

Instructions

Step 1 - Log into the new myPlymouth

Step 2 - Click on the Services Tab

Step 3 - Click on the Faculty link that is located in the Self Service channel.

Step 4 - The Faculty menu appears

Access the Advisor Menu

Step 5 - Click on the Advisor menu

Step 6 - Click on the Student Academic Transcript

Note: If you have not yet selected the term in which you need course information,

Step 7 - Click on the triangle in the box next to Select a Term to access the drop down menu.

Step 8 - Click on the term in which your course is being offered.

Step 9 - Click on the Submit button to save your choice.

Search for the Student

Step 10 - Type any student's ID or search for a student by typing his/her last name

Step 11 - Click on the Submit button

Step 12 - Click on the triangle in the box next to Student or Advisee to access the drop down list

Step 13 - Click on the appropriate student's name

Step 14 - Click on the Submit button

Select Transcript Type

Step 15 - Click on the triangle in the box next to "Select Transcript Level" to access the drop down menu

Step 16 - Click on the transcript level that you wish to view

Step 17 - Click on the triangle next to "Select Transcript Type" to access the drop down menu

Step 18 - Click on the transcript type that you wish to view

Step 19 - Click on the "Display Transcript" button

Step 20 - The transcript displays the student's coursework by term

Note: The Web Transcript displays less information than the Advising Transcript.

 

Additional Options
  • To print, click on the printer icon in the toolbar, or click and drag your cursor across the text, and then copy and paste the text into Microsoft Word or Excel.

  • To return to the Faculty Services Menu, click on the "Faculty Services" link at the top of the window.

 

Outcome

You should be able to view a student's transcript.
