Task: Create a secret URL on Mahara
Instructions
Step 1 - Log into Mahara:
- Login to myPortal.
- Search for Mahara ePortfolio.
- Click on Mahara ePortfolio You will now be looking at your Mahara Dashboard Page.
Step 2 - Click on Main Menu on the upper right side of the dashboard page.
Step 3 - Click on the down arrow next to the Share title
Step 4 - Select the Shared by Me sub-tab. A list of your collections and pages will be displayed.
Step 5 - Click on the Globe icon next to the page or collection name you want to create a secret URL for. If the Globe icon has a number 1 to the left of it, it means there is already a secret URL for that portfolio and you can copy the existing URL. Always click on the Globe to get the Secret URL.
Step 6 - You can copy and paste that URL in an email to a person you want to share your portfolio with. If your professor has created a dropbox in Moodle, you can paste it there.
Outcome
Users should be able to create a secret URL on Mahara.
