Forgetting USNH Wireless Networks

Summary

This article will help you forget, and reconnect to, the USNH Wi-Fi network with instructions for a variety of different devices.

 

How-To

Task: To connect or reconnect to the secure wireless network eduroam

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Select eduroam from the available Wi-Fi networks on your device. 

Step 2 - When prompted to login, enter your username@campus.edu (for example, jbd2519@unh.edu, jbd2419@plymouth.edu, or jbd2319@keene.edu), and your current password. 

 

Outcome

You will be reconnected to the wireless network eduroam.

Task: To forget a wireless network on Windows 10/11 computer

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Right click on eduroam from the list of available networks.  

Step 2 - Select Forget then close the Wi-Fi options page.  

Step 3 - Follow the instructions for connecting to eduroam above.  

 

Outcome

You will be reconnected to the wireless network eduroam.

Task: To forget a wireless network on Mac Operating System (Mac OS) computer

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open System Settings, and navigate to the Wi-Fi page. 

Step 2 - Select eduroam from the list, and press the – minus button on the bottom-left. 

Step 3 - Close System Settings, and select the Wi-Fi icon at the top-right of the screen. 

Step 4 - Follow the instructions for connecting to eduroam above.  

 

Outcome

You will be reconnected to the wireless network eduroam.

Task: To forget a wireless network on iOS device (iPhone or iPad)

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open the Settings app, and select Wi-Fi

Step 2 - Select the blue information icon to the right of eduroam. 

Step 3 - Select Forget This Network from the top of the list. 

Step 4 - Follow the instructions for connecting to eduroam above.  

 

Outcome

You will be reconnected to the wireless network eduroam.

Task: To forget a wireless network on Android device

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open the Settings app, and select Network & Internet

Step 2 - Select Internet, and Saved Networks

Step 3 - Long-press on eduroam, and select Forget

Step 4 - Return to Network & Internet, and select Add network

Step 5 - Follow the instructions for connecting to eduroam above.  

 

Outcome

You will be reconnected to the wireless network eduroam.
