When attempting to publish to Tableau Public directly from Tableau Desktop, an unexpected "Unable to Complete Action...Error Code: C926DA9F" occurs.

Resolution

There is a solution scheduled from Salesforce for this issue however, there is no date identified.

Workarounds

Salesforce has officially identified a workaround and another unofficial workaround has also been identified. Both are listed below. 

Workaround 1 - 

This is the workaround identified by Salesforce:
As a potential workaround, use web authoring in Tableau Public or Tableau Cloud

Workaround 2 - 

Save a packaged workbook from Tableau Desktop to desired file location. Log in to Tableau Public and upload the packaged workbook.
