In the Canvas course, when the student submits a document into an assignment, the faculty can make comments that appear on the document. The faculty annotations and comments can appear on the document or in the document margin. The best option is to use a laptop or PC to view the assignment.  A mobile device app doesn't show all the feedback.  

 

Task: View assignment feedback.

Instructions

Step 1 - In the course menu on the left, click on the Grades area. 

Step 2 - Click on the assignment title to open to the actual assignment.

Step 3 - On the right side of the screen, click on the View Feedback link to open to see faculty annotations and comments.

Outcome

You will be able to view the feedback on an assignment.
