How-To

Task: Copy a note block from one ePortfolio to another to reuse it.

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Log in to myPortal

Step 2 - Search for Mahara ePortfolio

Step 3 - Click on Mahara ePortfolio - This will take you to your Mahara dashboard page.

Step 3 - Click on Main Menu on the upper right side of the dashboard.

Step 4 - Click on the down arrow next to the "Create" title

Step 5 - Click Pages/Collections under the Portfolio tab.

Step 6 - Click the page name. Then, click the pencil icon on the upper right side of the screen to enter edit mode.

Step 7 - Place the Note block on the ePortfolio page. This can be found under the General Block section.

Step 8 - Underneath the block content, click Use content from another block.

Step 9 - Click the Search tab. Type in the tile of the note you want to reuse.

Step 10 - Find the note block you want to use and click the radio button.

Step 11 - Click No when asked to allow comments

Step 12 - Click Save

 

Outcome

Users should be able to reuse previously made note blocks in Mahara ePortfolios.
