You will understand how to customize your myPortal Tools by adding quick links to resources that are helpful to you in your left-hand navigation bar.
How-To
Task: You will learn how to add tools to Shortcuts or their Tools menu.
Instructions
Tools are personalized links that give you one-click access to other systems and apps. You already have some important tools in your menu.
Step 1 - You can add tools to your menu by clicking View All from the top of the Tools area in the left-hand navigation.
Step 2 - You can either add the tool to your shortcuts (also found in left-hand navigation) area by clicking on the star icon or click the add to menu icon 
to add the tool to the Tools area of your left-hand navigation.
Step 3 - Re-click off the menu icon to remove any items from your Tool menu. If you see a lock icon next to a tool, it is required and cannot be removed from your menu. 
Step 4 - If you need to edit shortcuts simply click Edit next to shortcuts and then click the Trash Can icon to remove any of the Shortcuts you've added.You can click the three lines next to the shortcuts and click and drag them around in the Shortcuts menu.

You will understand how to customize their Tools and Shortcuts.
