UNH - Open Course Course with Faculty Permission Request Coming from Current Faculty
Checklist:
- Current faculty teaching course is at UNH
- Requesting course faculty is at UNH
- Permission is granted by current faculty in some form
- Faculty can add users to their course and grant permissions
LD&T Process: No action needed except to inform faculty how to add users to their course.
UNH - Closed Course with Faculty Permission Request Coming from Current Faculty
Checklist:
- Current faculty teaching course is at UNH
- Requesting course faculty is at UNH
- Permission is granted by current faculty in some form (forwarded or copied email, or requested by faculty themselves).
- Course is closed
Details:
As long as the faculty are still here at USNH and they can be added to the course, this type of request does not have to come through AMS.
If we have their approval in ticket or they are the one requesting we add the person. They just need to still be here at USNH

UNH Faculty Permission Request Coming from Current Faculty, but UNH Faculty No Longer at UNH (Left, Retired, etc)
Checklist
- Faculty should make an effort to get permission
- Faculty can not attain permission
Details:
Users who request access to another instructor’s course data need to have approval from the instructor of that course. If the instructor is no longer employed by the university or unavailable to provide permission, the user must make a request through the Accounts Management System to gain access to the content.

PSU - Student Access Request from Faculty

Checklist:
- Faculty is making request
- All requests pertaining to past/concluded courses will be processed by Group: ET&S TLT - Academic Application Admin
- Student: When a student is not in the Canvas roster, the PSU Help Desk will review the official Banner roster to make sure the student is actually registered for the course. If they are, then the ticket gets reassigned to Group: ET&S TLT - Shared Student so they can add the student to the course. If the student is not on the Roster, and we are still in the add/drop period, HD would advise the student on how to officially add the course through Banner Self-service. If the student is not on the roster and thinks they registered for the course, we would refer the student to the Registrar or their academic advisor.

PSU - Student Access Request from Student

Checklist:
- If student is making request send to Help Desk Follow up.
- Below is what Help Desk Should be checking on.
- Student: When a student is not in the Canvas roster, the PSU Help Desk will review the official Banner roster to make sure the student is actually registered for the course. If the original owner is no longer employed at UNH, the requestor must request permission through the https://ams.usnh.edu system:
- Visit https://ams.usnh.edu and click on Accounts Management System
- Login with user information
- Click on Request Access to Password/Confidential Information in the left hand menu
- Fill in Requester Information
- Select Grant access to streaming media data as the Request Type field
- Note: this type of request requires approval
- Complete the remainder of the form

PSU and UNH Kaltura: Faculty/Staff Permission Request Coming from Current Faculty and involves Current Faculty/Staff

- Current faculty teaching course is at UNH/Plymouth
- Requesting course faculty is at UNH/Plymouth
- Permission is granted by current faculty in some form (forwarded or copied email, or requested by faculty themselves).
LD&T Process: Share information below with user and make sure it is within the ticket. Share this KB https://td.usnh.edu/TDClient/60/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=2215
If the original owner is still at UNH/Plymouth, they can send us an email or reply to the TD ticket giving permission, being sure to clarify which videos are being transferred to whom. LD&T and or App Admins Kaltura admins can process this migration.
