This is for internal and external persons to join a Teams Meeting from a mobile (phone or tablet) device.
How-To
Task: This KB will outline how to join a Microsoft Teams Meetings link with or without a USNH Microsoft account on a mobile (phone or tablet) device.
Instructions
1. You must download the Microsoft Teams app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store to join a meeting when in the mobile environment if you would like video conferencing capability. If that isn't a good option for you, there is a call in option available in our Teams Meetings. You will be prompted to download the application if you try to join a meeting and you do not have the Microsoft Teams application. A good first step if you want anyone to join a meeting and you want to use video conferencing capability is to download the Microsoft Teams application.
2. Once you've downloaded the application if you are not a USNH user and do not have a Microsoft account follow the instructions on this Microsoft article Join a meeting without an account in Microsoft Teams. This article is specifically for those with the mobile app, who are guest users and do not want to create a Microsoft or other account in order to join a Teams Meeting.
3. If you do have a Microsoft account and/or want additional ways to consider joining a meeting follow the instructions of your choice on Join a Meeting in Microsoft Teams.
Outcome
Users will know how to join a meeting in Microsoft Teams from a mobile device whether they do or do not have a Microsoft account.
