Summary
This article is about joining a meeting through a browser for non-USNH employees
How-To
Task: This task describes how to access meeting through the browser
Instructions
If you invite a non-USNH employee to a Teams meeting, you must send them a link to the meeting. They will click on the meeting link to access the meeting, and depending on the meeting settings, they will enter the "lobby" or "waiting room", and the meeting organizer will need to let them into the meeting. They will appear as unverified under the Participants list.
Non-USNH participants may see this image when they click on the meeting invite. They can select Continue on this Browser to access the meeting.
Step 1 - Select Continue on this browser
Step 2 - If prompted, select the option to allow the browser to use your mic and camera.
If you are prompted to download the MicroSoft App, then select Cancel to continue.
You can join a meeting up to 15 minutes before it starts, but the meeting organizers and participants won't be notified until then. If you don't have a Teams account, then you'll be labeled as "Unverified".
Outcome
Users can expect to know how to access a meeting on the browser using an existing meeting link.
