This article describes what's new in Enhanced Rubrics. It will also describe how to enable Enhanced Rubrics and use it in your course.
What's New:
- The ability to import a rubric using a CSV template
- The ability to reorder rubric line items
- A horizontal and vertical view of the rubric when assessing students, in addition to the traditional view
- The option to archive a rubric
- Allow students to self-assess using the rubric

How to enable Enhanced Rubrics
Enabling the Enhanced Rubrics will convert the existing rubrics to the new Enhanced rubrics and the new editing features. You can revert the rubrics back to Classic Rubric going to Settings and selecting Disable. Enabling and disabling the Enhanced Rubrics will not result in a loss or corruption of the Rubrics.
Instructions
Step 1 - In the course, go to Settings.
Step 2 - Select Feature Options
Step 3 - Locate Enhanced Rubrics and click the X and select Enabled
Step 4 - In the course menu, select Rubrics.
Step 5 - The Rubrics index page will show the converted existing rubrics to the new Enhanced rubrics and the new editing features.
How to create and edit Enhanced Rubric
Instructions
Step 1 - In the Rubrics area, select Create New Rubric
Step 2 - Add Criterion and Ratings
Step 3 - Save as Draft or Create Rubric
