A1 - What is a WebI Reporting Account?

  • WebIntelligence is the end-user tool used as a reporting solution for Banner Finance, Banner HR, UNH Banner Student, UNH Banner Advancement, InfoEd, FAMIS, and other applications. WebIntelligence offers two levels of end-user capabilities:
    • Report Readers - users who can access and run reports from a library of centrally supported reports
    • Report Creators - advanced users who can access the underlying reporting structures to create custom reports

A2 - Who Can Get a WebI Reporting Account?

  • Accounts are issued to staff at University System of New Hampshire campuses upon request of their department head. These accounts are to be used only by the staff member to whom the account is assigned, and only for the purpose of performing administrative reporting within the confines of the staff member's official University duties.
  • Requests for WebI HR accounts must originate with the department head, be approved by the campus-designated approver, and receive final authorization from the USNH HR System administrative team.

  • Your first login and the set-up of your WebI reporting environment are important first steps for every WebI customer. Please follow the instructions in this WebI Quick Start Steps document. It will walk you through how to login and how to set your WebI preferences. By following the instructions in the guide, you will have the best possible experience with WebI Reports. In order to access the document, you must be logged into your campus VPN application.

  • The Human Resources employee termination process is directly related to deactivating of computing accounts. On an employee's termination date, his or her WebI account will be deactivated. If you want to request that a WebI account be deactivated prior to an employee leaving the University, call the Technology Help Desk.
