Graduate Assistant Hire

At this time, the HRIS team is processing tasks to hire Graduate Assistants using information provided by Finance users.
 
The Hire business process is used for Graduate Assistants who do not have a current active job in Workday.
 
The Add Additional Job business process is used to give an existing Graduate Assistant an additional job in Workday.
 
The Period Activity Pay business process is used to add a new Assignment to an existing job in Workday.
 
Completing these business processes requires the completion of the Hire Graduate Assistant TEMPLATE to provide HRIS with the information needed to complete these processes.
 
The Hire Graduate Assistants article provides the spreadsheet and descriptions of the information required to create new positions when required, determine which hiring event is required (hire, add job, assign period activity pay, etc) and add academic appointments.
 
You should use this request, and the link provided on the request to Upload the completed spreadsheet into the WORKDAY Graduate Assistant EIBs folder for HRIS to process.
