Faculty/Student claim an evaluation is not available for a course

Shared Student can look at a spreadsheet for that term, search by course to see if the course was flagged for evaluation.

Here is how you can confirm if an evaluation should be found:

  1. Open the EOT spreadsheet
  2. Select the Courses tab
  3. Search for the course
  4. Find column 7
    1. if Yes it is being evaluated
    2. if No it is not being evaluated

Neither course has the Yes flag, so the faculty member of each course did not opt-in to the end of term evaluation. If there was a Yes flag, then the student would want to try accessing Blue directly instead of through Canvas. If all else fails, then an admin would need to review.

Courses are set to Evaluate = No but cross listed with other courses are are set to be evaulated, do I need to de-cross-list? No,
if the courses are set to 'not evaluate' then it doesn't matter they are crosslisted

Student Filled out a survey for the wrong course Unfortunatelly, once an evaluation has been submitted there is no way for us to re-release it and erase the old one.  The student can go directly to the Dept Chair or Dean's office with feedback.
Course was set to "NO" do not evaluate Once evaluations open there is no way for us to release evaluations that were set to Do not Evaluate.  Faculty can use a Qualtrics survey or have the students go directly to the Dept Chair or Dean's office to submit feedback.
