Summary
After you have invited people to your meeting, you can add up to 10 Co-organizers to help manage your meeting. Co-organizers are displayed as additional organizers in the meeting participant list and have most of the capabilities of the meeting organizer. This article details how to add Co-organizers to Teams Meetings.

Important Notes
- To allow co-organizers to change meeting options in a channel meeting, they must be directly invited to the channel meeting invitation.
- Non-USNH users can't be made co-organizers.
- To allow co-organizers to manage breakout rooms, they must be from the same organization as the meeting organizer.
Task: To add a Co-organizer in Teams Meetings
There are two ways to add co-organizers in Teams Meetings, through the Teams application or through Outlook. See both instructions below.
Teams Application Instructions
Step 1 - Go to the Calendar in your Teams app and click +New to add a meeting. Make sure Teams Meeting is slid to on
Step 2 - Click on Meeting Options (gear icon) next to the Teams Meetings slider
Step 3 - On the Meeting options page, select Roles on the left then "Choose co-organizers". Use either option to add a person:
- Search for their name to add them to the meeting as a co-organizer, or
- If they were already added to the meeting invite, use the down arrow and choose the name of the additional co-organizer(s) from the list of attendees.

Step 4 - Select Apply at the bottom of your screen.
Outlook Instructions
Step 1 - Schedule your meeting and add attendees. Any people you want to be co-organizers must be added as required attendees.
Step 2 - In your Outlook calendar, select the meeting and then choose Meeting Options from the side bar.
- Make sure the people you want to add are already required attendees in your meeting
Step 3 - On the meeting options page choose Roles and then Choose co-organizers
Step 4 - Select the down arrow and choose the name of the additional co-organizer(s).

Step 5 - Select Save at the bottom of your screen.
Outcome
You are able to add co-organizers to Teams Meetings.
