Task: Install and use AB Tutor to monitor and manage Lab Devices and Digital Signs
NOTE: Access to AB Tutor is given on an individual basis. Not all users with access to AB Tutor will have the same access rights and therefore inventory may look different between users.
Instructions:
AB Tutor installation
Note: Make sure you are on the campus network or connected to the VPN to both install and use AB Tutor. For application information, browse to \\mojo.unh.edu\setup\installers\abtutor\v9manual.pdf
Step 1: Map a drive to \\mojo.unh.edu\setup\installers\abtutor using your adm credentials.

Step 2: Double click ABTutorConsoleOnly.msi

Step 3: Click Next.

Step 4: Click Next.

Step 5: Make sure that only "Console" is selected and click Next.

Step 6: Click next.

Step 7: Click Install.

Step 8: Click Finish.
AB Tutor Use
To open AB Tutor, double click on the shortcut that looks like this:

Please enter your AD credentials, username only, with your password.

Devices are in groups. Digital signage, for instance is under Shared Groups and devices in that group can be seen by clicking the group on the left:

By double clicking on a device in the list, it will bring up a connection to that device in a separate window:

In this instance, the device is already logged in with a service account. Here is a list of the actions for a device from the window:

Shared: Click this to interact with the window. You will need to do this to move the mouse interactively.
Lock Out: This locks the screen.
Ctrl+Alt+Del: You may need to press this if the device has not been logged into yet.
Text Chat: This will open up a chat window with the device so you can copy and paste text.
Close: This closes the open window.
