This article will show users how to create an announcement in Canvas. It additionally explains how to delay the release of announcements.

You can now delay sending an Announcement.  Use the Delay Posting option to enter a future date and time for the Announcement to be sent.  Students will not see the Announcement until it is released.  Select the Save button to save the Announcement
