Outlook: Troubleshooting No New Emails Coming in after Account was Compromised

Summary

This article provides information about how to solve the problem of no new emails coming in after your email account was compromised and recovered.

Content

If your USNH account was compromised and you have now recovered access to your account, but no new emails are coming in, it is possible that a rule was created to automatically direct all incoming mail to your Deleted folder

Review all your Outlook Inbox Rules to make sure they are doing what you want.  You may find some rule(s) that are sending all your emails to the Deleted Items folder or some other bad rules.  Please see the articles on Managing Rules in Outlook on the Web and in the Outlook Desktop App. Use the instructions in these articles to review existing rules and delete any that you do not want.

Once you have deleted the rules you can Recover Deleted Items in Outlook on the Web and in the Outlook Desktop App.
