Dialing Instructions

Switchboard

  • From on-campus, dial 0 or 5-5000
  • From off-campus, dial (603) 535-5000

Voice-Activated Directory

  • From on-campus, dial 5-3333
  • From off-campus, dial (603) 535-3333

 

On-Campus

Dial the 5 digit extension

NH, Off-Campus

Starting October 24th, 2021, you must use the area code on all in-state, off-campus calls.  Seven-digit in-state dialing will not be connected as dialed. Dial as outlined below.

Dial 6 + 603 + 7 digit number*

Long distance outside of NH

Dial 6 + 1 + area code + 7 digit number *

International

Dial 6 + 011 + country code + city code + local number *

Toll-free numbers

Dial 6 + 1 + 8xx + 7 digit number

* Depending on your service type, toll calls may produce a three burst of tone, followed by dial tone, indicating that a PBN authorization code is necessary.
