This article describes who can see messages that are posted in groups.

Messages posted into a public or private group will show up in the My Feed of everyone who is a member of that group. The main difference between a public and private group is whether anyone outside of the group can view these messages. For instance, anyone in a network can view the messages posted in a public group by going to the group's home page. On the other hand, only group members of a private group will be able to view a private group's messages.
