Summary

This article provides instructions for sending a hardware asset to SEED in the Hardware Asset application in TeamDynamix.

In order to perform this function, you will need to be assigned the Depot Warehouse role in the TDx Hardware Asset application. If you have not already been assigned these permissions, please reach out to the Asset Management team to request this role. This step should be completed once the device has been picked up by the SEED vendor.

Step 1 - With the asset open in TeamDynamix, click on the ‘Edit’ button in the upper left:

Step 2 - Select the Zone Lead Form from the Form drop-down:

Step 3 - Click on the ‘Status’ drop-down and change the Status from ‘Retired’ to ‘Disposal’:

Step 5 - Update the ‘Location’ drop-down field to ‘Off Campus’:

Step 6 - Update the ‘SEED Pickup Date’ field to the date the equipment was picked up by the vendor:

Step 7 - Click the 'Save’ button in the upper left; you will see a confirmation message stating the changes have been saved. To go back to the asset information, click the ‘To Detail’ button:

Your hardware asset has successfully been sent to SEED in TeamDynamix.
