Summary

This article provides instructions for searching for an asset in the Hardware Asset application in TeamDynamix.

In order to perform this function, you will need to be assigned the Team Member role or higher in the TDx Hardware Asset application. If you have not already been assigned these permissions, please reach out to the Asset Management team to request this role.

Instructions

Step 1 - Log in to TeamDynamix and click on the ‘Hardware Assets’ tab:

Step 2 - In the upper right of the application toolbar, you will see a search bar pre-populated with the field names that are available for searching:

Step 3 - Click into this search bar and begin typing the Name, ID, Serial Number or Service Tag (Asset Tag) of the hardware asset you need to find. When done, click the magnifying glass icon to execute your search.

All matching items will be returned. If there are multiple results, TeamDynamix will return a list of assets to choose from:

If there is only one exact match, that result will open in its own window:
