Summary
This article describes how to request True Way ASL be added to the instructor's Canvas course. Since there are specific access codes that must be requested from the vendor this access must be requested prior to the start of every semester.
How-To
Task: How to request True Way ASL be added to the instructor's Canvas course.
At least six weeks before your course begins, enter your request to have True Way ASL installed. This will allow the Application Administrators time to set it up before the start of the semester.
If you are using a previous course, then copy your course prior to submitting your request. If you used True Way ASL in your prior course, then the link will be copied, but it will need to be reactivated with the True Way ASL vendor. This will happen after you submit your request using the link below.
Instructions
Step 1 - Go to https://td.unh.edu/TDClient/60/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=192 and click Request Service button.
Step 2 - Fill out the form requesting that True Way ASL be installed in your course and provide the following information:
- Course name
- Specify which chapters you require. (This is required for True Way ASL to create the correct package for your course)
Step 3 - Submit the form and you will be contacted by the Application Administrators when the process is complete.
Note: When the Application Administrator gets your request, they will contact True Way ASL to get the IMSCC package needed to install in your course. True Way ASL provides the files to the administrator who imports it into your course and installs the application in your course. Once that is complete, a unique code is provided to True Way ASL who will then activate the material in your course. True Way ASL notifies the Application Administrator when the process is complete. The Application Administrator notifies the instructor the course is ready to use.
Outcome
The user will know how to submit a request to have True Way ASL installed in their course.
