Configuring Blackout Windows

This feature appears in the TDNext Change Enablement application. Configure a new Blackout Windows following the steps below: 

  1. TDNext > Application Menu > Ticket Application > Gear Icon > New Blackout Window
  2. Name the Blackout Window.
  3. Mark the Window as Active.
  4. Choose a Time Zone.
  5. Add a Description if necessary.
  6. Save the New Blackout Window.

Once the Blackout Window is created, you'll need to add entries to configure the date windows. Follow the steps below to add the time entries: 

  1. TDNext > Application Menu > Ticket Application > Gear Icon > Blackout Windows > Select Blackout Window
  2. Click 'Edit' on the Blackout Window.
  3. Choose 'Add Entry'.
  4. Name the Entry.
  5. Choose an Occurrence.
  6. Specify the Entry Date and Start/End Time.
  7. If the window is an all day event, select the 'All Day' box.
  8. Save the Entry.
  9. Repeat steps if you need multiple entries.
  10. Once all of the entries have been added, press save on the Edit Blackout Window screen.
