Why These Settings Matter
✅ Language
- Ensures that the booking interface, confirmation emails, and calendar invites are displayed in a language your clients understand.
- Helps maintain a professional and consistent experience across departments.
🕒 Time zone
- Aligns your booking calendar with your actual working hours.
- Prevents appointments from being booked outside of business hours due to time zone mismatches.
📌 “Always show time slots in business time zone”
- Forces the booking page to display time slots in your business’s time zone, regardless of the customer’s location or device settings.
- Prevents confusion when clients are in different time zones or traveling.
- Ensures that both staff and clients see the same appointment time, reducing missed or misaligned meetings.
Example Scenario
A staff member in Concord, NH sets their business hours to 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time. Without enabling “Always show time slots in business time zone,” a client in California might see available slots as 6 AM–2 PM Pacific Time, leading to confusion. Enabling the setting ensures both parties see 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time.
