UNH Parent Portal: Account Information

Summary

Authorized individuals may access a range of information and services through the UNH Parent Portal including real-time account views, online bill payment, and final grades, depending on what your student allows your account to view. Your UNH student must first set up your portal account and grant access to specific information areas.

If you are responsible for paying a UNH bill, please ask your student to grant this access. Students will find instructions on how to create accounts in the Student Help PDF. You will receive step-by-step access instructions by e-mail (an email address your UNH student enters when creating your account) as soon as the student sets up the account.

How-To

Task: To access or request access to the UNH Parent Portal. 

Follow the instructions below if you:

  1. do not currently have a PARENT PORTAL account
  2. have received information about setting up your account, but have not yet activated it
  3. have activated your account and want to use it

 

Instructions

1. I do not currently have a PARENT PORTAL account

  • If you do not have a PARENT PORTAL account, your UNH student must authorize you to have one. Students create accounts for parents or others. If you are responsible for paying a UNH bill, please ask your student to grant access. Instructions for helping your students to create an account are in the Student Help PDF.
  • Be sure to tell your student what email address you want to use for Parent Portal access and notifications.  Your student will provide that email address when creating your account.
  • Once your account has been created and authorized, you will receive step-by-step access instructions by email. Follow the steps outlined in the email.

 

 

2. I have *NOT* activated my PARENT PORTAL account

  • Find the most recent email sent to you for your new Parent Portal account.  Follow the step-by-step instructions.  If you need further assistance, you can also view the Parent Portal Help document (PDF) for parents. 

 

3. I have already activated my PARENT PORTAL account

  • If you have already activated your PARENT PORTAL Account, you can go to the UNH Parent Portal page at www.unh.edu/parentportal to login.
  • If your password stops working, go to the UNH Parent Portal page and choose the Parent Portal Password Reset link to reset your password.   You will receive further instructions in the email your student used to set up your Parent Portal account.

 

Outcome

You will have access to or have requested access to the Parent Portal.
