Wireless signals in USNH residence halls are impacted by a number of factors. Some of these are out of your control (such as how many students are connecting at once, time of day, number of devices your neighbors have connected), while others are completely within reach. Read the following info graphic to learn how you can contribute to a robust wireless signal in your residence hall. UNH is currently the ony 100% wireless resident hall deployment, but these recommendations can help all USNH campus users experience better wireless performance.

To Be a Good Wireless Neighbor

  1. Disable your personal router.
  2. Don't use your phone as a hotspot.
  3. Shut off game consoles when not in use.
  4. Disable the wireless feature on your printer and use a USB cable to print.
