Content
Before your first class of the semester:
-
Visit the rooms you'll be teaching in to see the room technology first-hand. You can see a preview of the available technology by visiting the Classrooms with AirMedia links below.
-
Keep your computer operating system software and applications up to date.
-
Bookmark the room AirMedia URL in your browser for easy and quick access.
When presenting:
- Close or mute any programs and notification that may popup or make noise such as email or instant messages.
- Close software that you won't be using during your class.
- When showing video, there are also volume controls within the AirMedia software and the Crestron touch panel.
Note: At this time, AirMedia does not support sound when played through Android devices.
Using the Pause Button:
The Pause button allows that user to temporarily stop presenting and does not require the user to reconnect when they want to start presenting again.
- When you need to pause your presentation during discussion or other needs in the classroom
- If you need to access another application and do not want to display that on screen
Using the Stop Button:
The Stop button will disconnect the user from the display, the user would need to go through the connection process again to present.
- Use this button when you are complete with the presentation
- If someone else needs to connect and present to the display
